This website is produced by the Winton programme for the public understanding of risk based in the Statistical Laboratory in the University of Cambridge. Its "aim is to help improve the way that uncertainty and risk are discussed in society." It takes the form of a blog with stories accompanied by related mathematical and statistical explanations ranging from blogs aimed at a general readership through to full mathematical expositions at university level. Some featured contents including the prediction of murder, coincidence, and the National Lottery.
